Aliya S. Ahmed, MD, FAAP (Pediatrician)

Request an Appointment Dr. Aliya Ahmed has over a decade of experience in pediatrics and is a graduate of the renowned Aga Khan University. Upon obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Ahmed relocated to the United States where she successfully completed her Pediatric Residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Dr. Ahmed is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Aside from English, Dr. Ahmed also speaks Hindu, Urdu, and Spanish. In 2010 and 2012, Dr. Ahmed was the recipient of the Compassionate Doctor Award from Vitals.com. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about her work, and this is evident to her patients. She became a pediatrician due to her desire to serve and her love for children of all ages and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s needs, Dr. Ahmed is always committed to offering the highest quality of compassionate healthcare. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Ahmed enjoys reading, gardening, being a parent, and spending time with her family. She hopes to have the opportunity to get to know you and your child!

Dr. Nina S. Singhal, FAAP (Pediatrician)

Request an Appointment Dr. Nina Singhal was born in Boston, MA and soon after moved to Texas where she has remained. She graduated high school in Sugarland and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Houston in 2001. She then attended The University of North Texas Health Science Center of Fort Worth for her medical degree which she received in 2006. She completed her Pediatric residency training in 2009 at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, TX. She then practiced in Austin for 3 years prior to moving to Dallas. Dr. Singhal joined Children’s Health Pediatric Group in 2012 in Dallas and remained there until the summer of 2018. Dr. Singhal has now returned back to Sugarland and is honored to serve the Sugarland community and believes that educating her patients and their families is fundamental to the health and development of our children. Dr. Singhal currently resides in Sugarland, TX with her husband and two kids. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors. Languages: English and medical Spanish
